It requires a 120/240V, 1 phase electrical connection for operation and must be hardwired; the cord and plug are not included. This unit is intended for use in accordance with NFPA 96 guidelines. Please be sure to review any relevant fire codes for your area before ordering a ventilation system and understand the requirements for any equipment going under your hood, as this may change from area to area.

It boasts a 3/4 hp motor that delivers 1,300 CFM to 1,950 CFM with a maximum RPM of 1,650.

Mounting Versatility

This rugged exhaust fan mounts directly to the wall, or it can be installed on your rooftop. For rooftop applications, a 17" opening is required.

Innovative and Convenient

Essential to grease-laden air removal, this unit comes with an integrated grease drain that works to direct grease away from the fan base.

Variable Speed Control

The variable speed motor can easily be adjusted by using a remote 0-10V potentiometer (sold separately). The exhaust fan can be controlled up to 50' away when used with a remote potentiometer, providing you with convenient access even when you are not near the unit.

This fan came, the lid is creased. I thought no big deal I will use it anyway. looked inside the lid and there is no on board speed controller. Even though the description says that it comes with one OR you could purchase a wall mounted one. I spoke with two representatives who could not understand that and received an email for a link to the wall mounted speed switch as an answer. The wiring diagram is incorrect and the fan will not work hooked up direct.
