Durable Construction
A stainless steel frame gives this range / cooker exceptional durability, while also making it easy to clean.
Safe Technology
This countertop range uses induction technology to generate heat with no open flame. This means less ambient heat in your kitchen, fast heat-up times, and most importantly no open flame or flammable fuels that could be a potential safety hazard.
Powerful and Efficient
The IC3500 boasts 3500W of cooking power, and you can cook using either a wattage-based "power level" mode, or adjust the temperature directly from 140 - 460 degrees Fahrenheit.
Questions & Answers
Looking For Specific Info? Get quick answers to product questions with our AI-powered search.
Most induction ranges do not have specified weight or pan capacities, but make sure to check the manual. The key to ensuring your range works properly and does not get damaged by too much weight is to use a pan with a bottom diameter that does not exceed the burner's diameter. Using a larger pan or pot, such as a stock pot, will lessen the effectiveness of the range and the quality of your food. Please note a warped or uneven bottom, a very dirty pan/pot bottom, or a chipped or cracked pot/pan might cause error codes.
Does this unit stop heating when the timer is up?
No, while the unit will beep to let the user know the set time has expired, it will remain heating after the timer is up.
How does ambient temperature affect this induction range?
Do not install in areas where other equipment can exhaust directly into the induction range. All models require adequate unrestricted intake and exhaust air ventilation for proper operation of the controls. The maximum intake temperature must not exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43 degrees Celsius). Temperatures are measured in ambient air while all appliances in the kitchen are in operation.
My induction range blinks even when it's turned off. Is this normal?
Yes, this is normal. This unit blinks to indicate a standby mode, signaling it is plugged in and ready for operation.
What clearances are needed for this induction range?
Countertop models require a minimum clearance of 3 inches (7.6 cm) at the rear and a minimum clearance under the induction range of a distance equal to the height of the feet of the Induction range. Some units draw air from below. It must not be placed on a soft surface that could restrict airflow to the bottom of the unit.
What's the best way to use my Avantco countertop / drop-in induction range?
These induction ranges are designed for display cooking and other light-duty applications. They are not intended for use with large, heavy stock pots filled with water.
Why does the manual that came with my unit differ from the manual on the webpage?
Printed manual updates are in progress. In the meantime, the manual on the webpage contains the most up-to-date information.

First, you can easily get the timer to zero by using the plus key when it defaults to 180, it will zero out, then you can work upwards instead of downwards.
The low speeds do work, however, there's a trick to that, as well. You have to have the glass at the right temperature, and that will require either heating or cooling it to around the temp you set for the low heat levels. Put a pan onto the burner when cold it will not work for simmer or warm, period, because the glass will tell the sensor that things need more heat. But as the warmth of the pot heats the glass then the system begins to equilibrate, seek an average level. It's true this won't give you exact low temperatures no matter what.

Pretty low quality. I've purchased this item approx 8 times. EVERY single time, one or multiple of the plastic feet break off within the first month, if not in the box in transit. However, it gets very hot, boils water quickly, sears well, and you cant really beat the price. if it were any more expensive, this would be a 1 star review.

Efficient, fast and quiet. Cool to the touch and has automatic shutoff. We use the wattage function. Haven't used the temp function, so cannot comment on the accuracy.

When this product is working, it works well and is a strong induction burner. However, mine broke after 6 months of normal restaurant prep use. We never moved it like some people do with inductions where they take them out to use and put them away when done.
I do not recommend this induction unless you budget to buy 2 every year.

Thank you for your feedback! Please note that while it's commercially rated, it's best used in front-of-house applications. Induction is sensitive to heat, so if placed near high-heat appliances in the back of the house, it may impact performance. For optimal use, consider placing it away from intense heat sources.

Amazing for high power cooking or very fast boiling. But does not maintain lower temperatures perfectly - instead it will only simulate a lower temperature by briefly switching of/on. Timer function is very limited. Timer always starts at 180 minutes - if you want 5 minutes, you have to press -temp button 35 times (you cant just hold down -temp until you get there). The logic of how to use timer, power, and temperature settings is very confusing. The p[rice is good though.
