The Watts 8 lb. grease trap with threaded connections prevents greasy substances from entering plumbing systems, septic fields, and wastewater treatment facilities where they cannot be processed properly and could harm the environment. This unit has a flow restrictor on the inlet side of the interceptor that slows incoming effluent and redirects it through baffling inside the grease trap. As the flow is gradually slowed, lighter than water substances accumulate inside the trap above the static water line.
This grease trap features a body constructed of 11-gauge cold rolled steel with an oven-cured, acid-resistant baked gray epoxy coating. Other standard features include a solid steel cover with gasket, a removable baffle assembly, a deep seal trap with cleanout, threaded connections, and an external cast iron flow control fitting (flow restrictor). This unit has a grease capacity of 8 lb., and a flow rate of 4 GPM. It is PDI (Plumbing & Drainage Institute) certified, and meets the industry and PDI Standard PDI-G101 for separation efficiency. This standard specifies that the grease trap must maintain 90% separation efficiency up to its rated grease retention capacity.

I was looking for a small grease trap for my hotdog shop. I found this one it was perfect and the health department was pleased.
We needed a grease trap for our 3 bay kitchen sink to satisfy the health inspector. Perfect size and works great. We would purchase this grease trap again.
My only complaint- one side was threaded wrong. However we still made it work. It’s the perfect size for our food truck! The price is great compared to others. It is heavy though.
When I decided to making my selection for the purchase of a grease trap with the measurements that I have and the limited amount of space I chose the watch WV for THD 8 pound grease trap with threaded connection it was small enough for the area that I had. It's well built and my my plumber, he loves it. It meets my city code for my use.
This grease trap is a nice affordable option to the same exact thing you would buy from a dealer for FAR more. Works like a charm
We just installed this grease trap and it seams to be working well. The flow reducer is a bit much and the basins take a while to drain. I opened it once it is definitely intercepting grease.
My plumber loved this. Easy for him to install. It came with all the parts so there was nothing extra for him to purchase. It is perfect size for my bakery. Does not take up a lot of room and easy lid to remove.
don't know much about grease traps, but i bought this for my small bakery. i guess is doing its job. i have been using it for almost a year with no major problem..i guess one of these days i'll have to clean it
