The Watts WD-35-THD 70 lb. grease trap with threaded connections prevents greasy substances from entering plumbing systems, septic fields, and wastewater treatment facilities where they cannot be processed properly and could harm the environment.

Grease traps like the Watts WD-35-THD are often used with cooking or prep sinks, pot sinks, and commercial dishwashers in various types of commercial food service operations.

The Watts WD-35-THD Grease Interceptor features a body constructed of 11-gauge cold rolled steel with an oven-cured, acid-resistant baked gray epoxy coating. Other standard features include a solid steel cover with gasket, a removable baffle assembly, a deep seal trap with cleanout, no hub connections, and an external cast iron flow control fitting (flow restrictor).

The Watts WD-35-THD grease trap has a grease capacity of 70 lb., and a flow rate of 35 GPM. It is PDI (Plumbing & Drainage Institute) Certified, and meets the industry and PDI Standard PDI-G101 for separation efficiency. This standard specifies that the grease trap must maintain 90% separation efficiency up to its rated grease retention capacity.
