Oven itself is very good and reaches splendid temperatures, although it needs some 1:30 to reach maximum temp. The very serious problem is the packaging which is unacceptable, amateur, very poor handled Styrofoam not well designed to protect the oven against transportation damages. So, oven reached me with serious damages.

To paraphrase what I’m about to write for those who don’t want to read the whole review: you probably shouldn’t buy this oven. This oven is so poorly designed I don’t even know where to start. When it arrived the thermometer was pinned so we had to have a technician come out and replace it. That’s when we realized the readout is from a probe that’s under the pizza stone and next to the heating elements. You read that right, the “oven temp” thermometer has nothing to do with the actual temperature of the baking chamber, that’s why you see all the reviews talking about a burned bottom and pale crust. So let’s say you set the oven to 700, with both the top and bottom elements activated. This is a FANTASTIC oven. It always disappoints me when I see people write low "star" reviews for some reason other than the quality of the product. This thing is built like a tank. I also purchased the California Pizza Stone 18x18x1" and just love the combination. This oven will allow you to make pizza just like you get in a commercial pizza parlor. HIGHLY recommended!

Using this oven compared to our old one is like driving a Corvette compared to a Model T. This is so much easier to use - built in thermometer, separate heat controls, a solid door with a window, Super.

Setting the temperature at 650 gives me a deck temp close to 700 - I've had the deck at 870 though it's promoted for 840. Great affordable deck for 110v --. Very pleased.
