My name is Brian Voltaggio and I'm the chef and owner of Range, VOLT, Family Meal, and Lunchbox. Today we're here at Range, our newest restaurant; we just opened. I always say it's okay to play with your food, it's okay to have fun and cook and really get dirty and have fun in the kitchen. Some say that chefs are only as good as their tools. Vulcan certainly prides themselves on innovative features. They spend a lot of time, you know, really seeing it from a chef's perspective on how to build a really great stove. One of the things that was, you know, really important to us is cooking within the mid-Atlantic, and so I'm really glad that I chose to go with Vulcan. You know when I'm designing and building restaurants, I mean I don't want to put, you know, a bunch of junk pieces together. I mean, I want a high quality restaurant with really great equipment, a really great team, but also it's like what we're cooking with and on, the essence of what a restaurant is, it's all about the food. I mean we're talking about range, we're talking about local sustainability and organic ingredients. Our equipment should be the same. And Vulcan is produced in Maryland, and so it's built right here in the mid-Atlantic, you know, right here actually in our own state, and so for us to be a part of the community is extremely important to us. Some descriptors that come to mind when someone mentions Vulcan is, you know, quality, really great construction, reliability, which you know is really important in a fast-paced cooking environment. It's just overall great, great quality. I've been to the facility, I've seen them building the stoves, I've met the people that have put it together. You can tell there's a lot of pride in what they do. Quality of construction, the stainless steel interiors of the ovens, the gas is controlled within the grates, and also the reliability of the pilots, it screams that they've spent the time, you know, looking at the industry for advice. And they listened. And they listen to what we have to say. And so when I was able to see that firsthand I know that there was no other kind of equipment I was going to be putting into my kitchen.
