This unit has an oil capacity of 45-50 lb. and is packed with great benefits to make your frying experience as easy and efficient as possible, like the fryer's large cold zone. It helps keep sediment from burning and contaminating the oil, helping to extend your oil life. With a 14" x 14" tank size, this tube-style fryer delivers 85,000 BTU of power and comes with 4 nickel-plated adjustable legs and 2 fry baskets with plastic-coated handles.
To ensure long-lasting durability, this fryer and the basket hanger are constructed with stainless steel, and the basket hanger is easy to remove for cleaning. Equipped with user-friendly snap action millivolt controls, this unit's temperature can be adjusted from 200-400 degrees Fahrenheit with a standing pilot that runs without electric hook-up. This fryer features 3 exchanger tubes that allow maximum heat transfer.
When oil needs draining, this unit has a 1 1/4" full port ball type drain valve to simplify the process. The door is reinforced and features an Earth magnet to remain secure. Plus, to ensure safety for all employees, a hi-limit indicator shuts off the gas connection and standing pilot if the oil temperatures get too high. This unit requires natural gas for operation.

Arrived damaged and unsafe to use. Webstaurant did refund, but we had to repurchase locally due to time constraints.

Both 2 of these in 2024, the first one did not work right out of the box. The second one died at 11 month right before the warranty expires. All because of thermostat related problems. Dealing with Hobart (the manufacturer) is a real pain. Had to make more than 10 calls for the first fryer to be fixed. Tech never show up on the 2nd one, even with more than 6 followup calls. Also, I'm located in Boston which has Hobart repair center nearby as well. Save yourself a headache and downtime and pay more for something better. Lesson lerned, you get what you paid for. ??????
