Easy to Use
When you're ready to shuck, simply lay the oyster flat in your hand and hold it in place. Insert the tip of the knife into the oyster's hinge, run the blade along the top of the shell, and pry it open. Then, use the tip to spoon the oyster out of the shell.

I've bought a few different oyster knives in the past and this one is the best. I rarely slip when opening and it has good grip. These have been the only type I buy for a few years now.

I have 2 of every different style of victorinox oyster knives and I'm in the middle of ordering more of them not that I need them I just want to have them in my storage for future needs
My 2nd favorite oyster knife behind the Victorinox Boston style blade. This blade excels in in prying open tough oysters and cutting the muscle very cleanly. To wiggle pop the lid I'd recommend the Boston style version more. The grip is very comfortable and non slip, can open many oysters and it wont strain your hand.
We not only have one of these items we have many! We have found this product as a tool that makes opening oysters easier and quicker. The texturized handle makes gripping the handle easier as well. We find this tool very essential as many oysters are shucked daily.
Victorinox is one of the best names in cutlery. This oyster knife is no exception. Well balanced with a heavy duty handle. The bright color also stands out among the oyster shells.

Most popular type of oyster knife I've seen in restaurants. Works fine and great as an additional knife but I prefer a 4" oyster in general, less wear on hands especially when you have long fingers in my opinion.
