What is the best way to care for my melamine item?

In general, melamine is not microwave or oven safe. You can use a commercial dishwasher to clean your melamine items; however, top-rack only is recommended for residential dishwashing units. Avoid cutting directly on your melamine products with a serrated knife to prevent nicks and scratches. For additional guidelines, please refer to the Care and Use sheet included on this page.

Thunder Group 1810TM Details

This Thunder Group 10 1/2" black lotus-shaped plate is a fantastic way to serve the finest entrees and appetizers at your restaurant, hotel, or buffet. Its design has several small indents that make it look like hand-molded ceramic; but it's actually made of durable and affordable melamine. This plate has a glossy coloring of black that fades into an earthy reddish-brown color around the edges and a squat, oblong shape.
