This Metro C539-HLDC-4 C5 3 Series full size hot holding cabinet lets you hold food at any temperature between 80 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit without moisture control. This unit's cabinet is made of aluminum and is insulated with gray high density polyethylene Insulation Armour™ to ensure optimum heat retention and energy conservation while maintaining a cool-to-the-touch exterior. Its exterior is also dent, impact, and stain resistant with molded-in handles for easy maneuverability.
This unit features a digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights, which are all removable for thorough cleaning. Thanks to its thermostatically controlled, forced convection system, this holding cabinet has fast heat up and recovery times, while its clear Dutch doors allow you to view the cabinet's contents without opening the door and losing heat. And when it is time to open the door, you only need to open the top half or lower half to minimize heat loss even more!
Included with this unit are 18 pairs of fixed wire slides, which are made of 1/4" diameter nickel chrome electroplated wire and are welded on 3" spacing. This holding and proofing cabinet can be transported easily due to its (4) 5" donut neoprene wheels, 2 with brakes. These wheels have a double ball bearing swivel, ball bearing axle, and are nickel plated.
This low wattage unit operates at 120V and has an output of 1440W.
