The Watts WD-25 50 lb. grease trap prevents greasy substances from entering plumbing systems, septic fields, and waste water treatment facilities where they cannot be processed properly and could harm the environment.
Grease traps like the Watts WD-25 are often used with cooking or prep sinks, pot sinks, and commercial dishwashers in various types of commercial food service operations.
As the flow of water is gradually slowed by the internal baffles, lighter than water substances like grease accumulate inside the trap above the static water line.
The Watts WD-25 grease interceptor is built to last, with a body made of 11-gauge cold rolled steel. The removable grease accumulating cover and baffle assembly are secured to the grease trap's body with a center mounted hex head and a gasket seal.
The Watts WD-25 grease trap has a grease capacity of 50 lb., a flow rate of 25 GPM, and may be recess mounted or floor mounted.

Excellent grease trap for the money. So far no issues at all and was easy to install. I recommend this brand in any size that fits your store.
Grease trap works fantastically! I have owned this grease trap for more than 3 years now, and have never had an issue. Had to clean out once, but it was nice and easy to do.
It was a little to tall to fit under my three compartment sink, but that is probably my own fault for not getting my measurements correct. Other than that it has worked fine.
The grease trap itself is fine. But we discovered that our state now requires grease traps to have back flow prevention, or the plumber has to put in some extra drains. In the end that is what our plumber did, but I wish I had looked up more details about our local grease trap codes before purchasing.
City ordinance stipulates that most businesses that involve cooking have a grease trap. I could not imagine our pipes and sewer system without this! It traps so much crud and grease that is unbelievable. We have it cleaned ever so often and the smell is horrendous, but its reassuring knowing the job this thing does!
Trust me-- you don't want to have seen my kitchen before I bought the Watts WD-25 Grease interceptor 50 lb. Grease Trap. I let the grease pool up under my grease-making kitchen devices and it looked like something out of Jurassic Park! But now my kitchen is A-grade clean and all the grease is safely dealt with.
