Slice your meats quickly and easily using the Berkel B10-SLC 10" light-duty gravity feed manual meat slicer. Ideal for light-volume operations, this compact, space-saving unit fits perfectly in kitchens with limited space. With an efficient 1/4 hp motor and large 30" product table, this slicer creates consistent, uniform slices out of large cuts of meat, cheese, or other product. Operated by a simple on / off switch with a power light indicator, the 10" long hollow-ground, chrome-plated carbon steel knife can slice precise thicknesses up to 9/16" for ultra-fine, tissue-thin cuts or thicker slices.

This slicer is constructed of durable stainless steel and the anodized aluminum finish promotes quick, sanitary cleaning and long-lasting durability. It boasts a top-mounted, two-stone knife sharpener to continuously maintain a sharp blade and has a carriage that accepts food up to 8 1/4" x 6 7/8" x 6 7/8" in size. The removeable sharpeners also help simplify the sharpening process. For safe use, the motor is completely enclosed, and a permanent knife ring guard is included to always cover the non-slicing portion of the knife. This slicer can be disassembled without tools for easy cleaning at the end of the day. Plus, the removable carriage makes thorough cleaning easier. It requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

The slicer is great but the OEM packaging is bad. I tried twice to have a unit shipped buy the packaging was totally inadequate for shippers. If the box is turned on it's side or upside down the unit falls inside the box damaging the unit. After 2 tries I gave up and purchased one from another manufacturer. Webstaurant was great and supported me all the way through. I really wish they could package it better since the product I ended up with was not as well designed. ITW needs a packaging engineer.
