Designed to produce great tasting ice at an efficient rate, this Hoshizaki air-cooled ice machine combines reliability with top notch energy saving capabilities. This unit can make up to 98 lb. of crescent cube ice per day, and it holds 38 lb. of ice in its built-in storage bin to help you keep up with demand during busy times. Each crescent cube measures approximately 1 1/8" x 1/2" x 1 1/2". This unit has 6" legs, an ADA-compliant slide-in door ice bin opening, and a convenient self-contained undercounter design that can be built-in to your space.
For impressive performance, the unit has an EverCheck alert system for dependable use and a CycleSaver design for energy efficiency. The CycleSaver design allows for the production of the same amount of ice in half the cycles of other ice machines, maximizing performance and energy efficiency while consistently producing crescent shaped ice cubes that are both crystal clear in appearance and easy to chew. The EverCheck alert system notifies you when your machine needs to be serviced, making maintenance simpler than ever.
The KMEdge stainless steel evaporator is designed for increased efficiency with maximized surface area, a faster harvest cycle for increased production, and an increased bonded surface area that creates a stronger, more durable structure. Plus, to further ease maintenance, this unit has a front-in, front-out airflow and contains a removable air filter, which keeps the condenser coil clean to improve performance and longevity. This 1-phase unit operates using R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. It requires a 115V electric connection and includes a 6 1/2' power cord with a power switch that is accessible without panel removal. Compatible ice dispensers are sold separately.
