Scratch and Dent Avantco APT-60-HC 60" 2 Door Refrigerated Sandwich Prep Table

Do not buy this or any Avantco products, their support is atrocious. I purchased in May, had issues with it holding temperature almost immediately. It took over 3 weeks for them to provide a technician to look at it. I informed them from the beginning that I thought the issue was caused by a bad seal, but when the technician finally arrived after multiple calls and email's, he said there was nothing wrong and went on his way. Less than a week later, the unit stopped cooling again. I once again noticed that the seal had popped loose. I called back to the warranty department and was told that gaskets aren't covered under warranty. There staff is not only non-responsive, but condescending and dismissive if you are able to get in touch with someone. If I ran my restaurant the same way, I would be out of business. I am not the kind of person who typically bad mouths a company online, but I have exhausted all other channels and have not had my issue resolved.

If you want something that will last 14 months, then this is the fridge for you. They price it right below the good brands, enticing you to think hmm, this is the only one in this price range, ill buy this one. Do not fall for the trap. They know how long their parts last and that is why they only have a 12 month warranty. Webstaurant store should be ashamed to even sell something of such low quality. Just buy a beverage air instead.

Please do not purchase this product!!! Not even a year in, and it stopped cooling overnight. The cost to repair with labor, emergency visit (as it is essential to our business - visit done by a recommended vendor from webstraunt), equates to almost the price and the defective part is not covered under warranty. It's an awful lot of money to see thrown away. The manufacturer truly needs to address the issues with this peice of equipment.

I only use 6 weeks no getting cold ,temperature 60 now,no cold I don’t know what’s wrong,need someone coming fixing ,hope someone can coming fixing

DO NOT BUY!!! 8 days after warranty runs out it stopped cooling. Was told sorry we can't help you. We are a small restaurant that barely made it thru the pandemic. Someone should step up and help us. Instead they gave me a list of parts I could buy from them. The total of repairs and parts was going to cost me as much as a new unit. Not made to last. Just throw your money in the garbage instead of buying this product.

The unit is great, however, it takes specific sized pans which I feel is quite inconvenient, hence the 4 stars. It is ultimately my fault for not reading the entire site description regarding this issue. Silly me for assuming that the unit would properly fit the most common brand of food pan in the world. Now we have to reorder all the pans associated with this unit. Also, the lid hinge pin was missing from shipping, which Webstaurant sent out a new one as soon as I mentioned the issue. all good now.

***BUYER BEWARE*** This unit is junk. I give it ZERO stars but had to check one star. We have only had it for two years and the evaporator coils are leaking which caused the compressor to quit. They did send us a replacement compressor but that does no good without replacing the coils. I paid a lot for this unit and only got two years out of it. I'm angry to say the least. Webstaurant should stop carrying this product!!!

Do not buy this!! Two months after we received it it started leaking. Its under full warranty at this point, but you don't deal with Avantco, you deal with "Ready Kitchen Warranty" and they dispatched a technician who supposedly fixed it and closed out the claim. It wasn't fixed. So RKW opened a new claim for me and dispatched a different company to fix it. The technician this time seemed pretty knowledgeable but he told me that the unit design is different now, and difficult to fix without getting a bunch of new parts which he says he's been waiting on. Yet when I call RKW, they can't give me status. This has been going on now 3 months and my unit still isn't fixed. I keep calling RKW and getting the runaround. I should have just paid the extra money for a better brand. I've usually had great luck with purchases of Webstaurant over the years. They should stop carrying this crappy product.

I am very happy with the quality of this prep table especially for the price. However, there are two small drawbacks to this item that I wish I would have known before purchasing. 1) The space underneath for storing backup items is limited due to the way the fridge itself is constructed. leaving room for a depth of just 1 Cambro width wise. 2) The bars holding the Cambros in place have too much wiggle room so the bar slides back and forth allowing things to fall through. Very Frustrating!

I like the value of this Avantco APT-60M-HC 60" 2 Door Mega Top Refrigerated Sandwich Prep Table compared to top brands like True Refrigeration or Beverage Air. You need to play around with adapters from other brands and play around with pans so you'll find the perfect fit/set up you need.

Took a chance on this unit. It was the cheapest I could find. So far it’s been great. Keeps cool, easy to clean and fits our application. The thermostat is on the back so it’s a little inconvenient.

Love our sandwiche table, really like the temperature display on the unit, however it is located on the back, so if you have it against a wall you will have to pull it out to see the settings

the top cooler keeps the temperature right and the prep table its a good quality one it is a white color one and its easy to clean.

Great little sandwich table. The on top prep is perfect for any type of volume as it leaves plenty of room . Would recommend to anyone.

As reported by a number of other reviews, this sandwich board went dead a month after the warranty expired.

I received the wrong item and yet have I not received a call back or a message from WEBB restaurant even though it cost three $ more get it from an actual live person there’s no way to contact anyone. There’s no telephone number. I’ve been sitting here waiting for the past two weeks, trying to get a response and nothing Worst customer service ever. It is way better just to purchase it from a local distributor.

Perfect size for what I needed. Nothing better than new coolers. Came in on a very nice, large pallet. No issues with shipping.

The prep table has fit well into our space and fulfills a majority of our needs. The one thing we wish was more clear is notice what is NOT included in any of the equipment we’ve purchased from Webstaurant is a pop-up notice that tells you things like the pans aren’t included, etc. After spending a great deal of time researching and comparing units across multiple websites, it’s easy to forget what’s included and what’s not. Like pop-ups get added for warranty offers how about adding one that suggests one or two options for (in this case) the missing prep pans.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I have had this unit for over 2 years with no problems. When we first acquired the until I was worried about the temp since I was rising. It was brand new and just need to acclimate. So 10/10 in my option.

I am using this refrigerator for 18 months and now it is not cooling below 62.4 F. Warranty covers compressor but catch is that I still have to pay readykitchen for diagnostic and labor to install the compressor. Company will provide only parts. It is better to go with other manufactures whose product quality is better than Avantco.

This mega top sandwich prep table is HUGE! So much room for pans and extra storage. This thing is a huge upgrade from my previous station we used. Looking forward to using some of the extra space to expand our salad station. We used to have one with the annoying pan holders this one is pretty easy to get pans in and out of. Expensive but worth it

We have had this now for going on 3 years with no problems. It's a great size with being able to store things in the top (with multiple options for containers) and inside on the bottom!

This food prep table is great for the cost. It came already put together, so we just had to wheel it into place. It is very spacious. It does hold condensation in the top and it needs wiped down several times a day.

This table is well built very functional doors are easy to keep clean keeps a great temp wheels on the bottom or plus easy to clean under and around.

No problems with these one since we purchase its a great product and the price its the right for our business we recommend these product

this sandwich prep table is so useful I use it a lot and my sandwiches turn out so good I highly recommend this product it is amazing.

prep table what I like is big and useful. This product is one I want exactly. I think 60x60 is good size for this price.

It’s a great product. We will use it to storage a Brazilian hotdogs. I love the refrigerator under it. It have a good size room. It also has wheels that helps to move it when need to be clean under.
