Purchased one in February 2020 and it cracked around the neck after only 4 months of medium duty use. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and give it two stars, but honestly probably doesn't deserve even that.

Just ordered our 6th, yes SIXTH, one of these in the last two years. The quality of this product is bad. Cheap aluminum that breaks in the same spot over and over again. A clear design flaw. Some of them last 6 months, some last 2 months. the relatively inexpensive price of this beater is the only reason we keep replacing it over and over again. Our restaurant has a full service baking department with professionally trained bakers in it and this item gets very regular use but it is never misused or abused in any way. It still breaks with shocking regularity. If you can afford the steel Hobart one, I'd recommend against buying this as it absolutely will break on you.

The aluminum flat beater is made of solid material. Fits perfect in our mixers and does not rub against the side of the bowl. It is a replacement piece for one that is used daily and lasted an extremely long time.

Great paddle for mixing heavy items such as brownie batter or thick cookie doughs - just beware that you definitely need to get the bottom of the bowl.
This is the perfect replacement for our hobart mixer. We use this as a backup, or when we have a lot of production and the hobart bowl is being cleaned. Great equivalent.
this was significantly cheaper than the original. this basically is identical and is a quarter of the price for name brand. we have used for several months with no issues.
Strong heavy duty steel construction all the way around. Strong heavy duty welds on the handles and at the base. Easy to clean and maintain.
This is the second one we have purchased, first from this company. This by far is the best one yet, holds up to multiple daily use with absolutely no problems.

This flat beater is great quality. We tried to mix too much in our mixer and it got a little bent but at this price, you can't go wrong. Great buy!
Let me just say that the webstaurantstore is amazing. The product shipped in two days and came fully wrapped without any blemishes. These guys know what they're doing. This bowl is amazing! I actually cook gumbo in this thing for the family and this thing takes the heat like a beast. I found that it was worth paying extra for the 80qt over the 60qt because its the perfect size for any of my cooking/ baking needs.
This flat beater is a perfect fir for a 60 quart hobart. Easy to change out when changing batches of dough. Having the extra equipment on hand saves lots of time in production.
Nice heavy duty beater attachment for our Hobart 60 quart mixer. And as usual The Webstaurant Store has the best price that we could find.
