This is a great tomato slicer for a great price. I've owned this slicer for nearly five years and the machine is still working fantastically. We have obviously changed the blades a few times, but that is required maintenance with any tomato slicer you purchase. I highly recommend this!

This works great for consistency. It can handle a full size 5x6 tomato or a Roma tomato(if you cut the bottom off). Saves labor and dood cost.
Makes beautiful tomato slices!... if the tomatoes are firm enough! I find they can get caught in the corner and tear up the tomatoes though. Our strategy is to push them through fast before they slide to the other edge and it usually works out fine.
This product does the intended job. Previously, I purchased a cheap knockoff. The knockoff product was lightweight and made of cheap aluminum and also pretty much destroyed my tomatoes. This product is much sturdier and slices tomtatoes with ease. Recommended.

I've used these numerous times over the years at different jobs that I've had in foodservice. They are extremely easy to use, and always perform well. If you have a little or a lot of sliced tomatoes to do, this is what you need.
This item is wonderful......extremely sharp and easy to use!!! I would only recommend some kind of safety lock while this item is not being used.
