I’m not a huge fan of this orange flavor. We tried it for a candied orange mocha but the orange flavor just didn’t work out. There’s something slightly off about it. It does, however, work well paired with vanilla gelato for creamsicle shakes or in a lemonade. I think Monin makes a candied orange flavor that may work better with coffee & chocolate.
I asked for a replacement because of the sediment ring around the inside of the neck of the neck of the bottle. This bottle looks like like the first bottle. The expiration is 05/26. I purchased several different flavors. The orange is the only flavor like this. I drank some of it and have been vomiting for five days so far. The pan was damaged when it arrived. If I am not feeing better tomorrow, I will head to the ER.

We ordered six flavors of Monin syrup for a welcome dinner at our wedding, and they were all a hit with kids and adults. The bottles arrived very well packaged. Some of the shipping stickers were a pain to take off - they were covering the flavor of the syrup - but gentle pulling removed them without too much damage to the label. People seemed to use/prefer less syrup than we expected, and less than the 4 pumps per drink that Monin recommends, so we have plenty of extra after an evening with about 60 people. I enjoyed the Orange but my partner said next time she would order something more citrusy, like a tangerine. This is a sweet flavor, more like a orange candy flavor than something brighter.
Compared to Torani, Monin's orange syrup has a very natural taste to it. I use the syrup to make orange mocha, and it makes the drink taste so good. I am definitely looking forward to purchasing more of these.
