This is a great granny smith apple taste. We've been using another brand and ran out and switched to this. It did taste a little different but in a good way.
Strong, tart,and sweet green apple flavoring. A good tart apple, more on the artificial end of the spectrum (does not taste like biting into a granny smith apple) but that's exactly what I was hoping for. I've used this for so many seltzers and drinks and it brings strong flavor to the table.

Used this to make caramel apple lattes, and the syrup causes the milk to curdle when it is added to the espresso/flavoring solution. Tried repeatedly, same result. No, the milk was not bad because the curdling only occurred with this flavor. High acid content, possibly?

This one tastes like green apple usually does. It has a tart and sweet taste. It is very good when combined with the caramel flavoring syrup.
We bought this syrup because we really liked Apple-Cucumber and Apple-Coriander syrups, but didn't like paying the ridiculous prices. I think the name brand soda syrups are really good because there is more than just the apple note in it. With that in mind, this syrup is good and the apple flavor is fairly true, but it wasn't enough to carry a beverage on its own. Also, the syrup is kind of thin, which means it takes a lot to make a soda. If Monin makes any flavors that combine apple with something else, then I would be thrilled to try it.
