The Master-Bilt DD-66 ice cream dipping cabinet holds 12 standard 3 gallon ice cream cans for effective merchandising and dipping, with room for 8 more beneath the display racks in storage! Brilliant fluorescent lighting and a tempered glass viewing window ensure that your delicious ice cream looks its best and is highly visible.
This ice cream dipping cabinet features 2 1/4" of foamed-in-place urethane insulation, plus a cold wall evaporator design and a 1/2 hp compressor that maintains internal temperatures between -5 and 5 degrees Fahrenheit. Its stainless steel serving deck, heavy duty epoxy-coated wire can support racks and an integrated drain with a garden hose connection ensure years of dependable service and easy cleaning.
This ice cream dipping cabinet requires a 115V electrical connection.

Seems like a well built cabinet, but many issues. First, this longer one has an exposed temperature knob that gets bumped. Not good. Second, the left side door is severely warped, I tried to show it in pics but it's not easy to see. Third, the double covers for the tubs are terrible - you end up scraping ice off the side walls and it ends up in your ice cream. The all-thread is too long for the units that are over the compressor, I had to cut them short to prevent our employees' knuckles from being scratched.
Lastly, the ice cream gets soupy up top.
We previously had an Avantco 12 tub unit, it was superior (and it coated much less). We thought we'd "upgrade" to Masterbilt but it turned out to be a downgrade.
