Details
If your establishment serves seafood, crab cakes are an essential entree to offer on your menu. These Handy par-fried carnival crab cakes make it easy to offer this popular and delicious seafood treat at your restaurant! These crab cakes are made with generous lumps of sweet, fresh crab meat, luscious bechamel sauce, and signature seasoning for exceptional flavor. Each cake is gently hand-formed to deliver an authentic look and texture - your guests will think you made them from scratch! For added texture and visual appeal, these crab cakes are lightly coated in crispy panko bread crumbs for the perfect crunchy bite. These crab cakes are made with fresh crab meat from live steamed crabs that's black light inspected to remove all shell fragments. After being carefully shaped for consistent portion control, these crab cakes are par-fried to speed up prep time, then cryogenically frozen to preserve their freshness. The result is an authentic and delicious crab cake that can be served as a gourmet entree or a satisfying sandwich!
This product offers easy preparation, taking the guesswork out of cooking up perfect crab cakes every time! For your convenience, they can be prepared from thawed or frozen. To prepare frozen crab cakes, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray or coat a sheet pan with oil, then add your desired number of crab cakes. Place the pan on the middle rack of your oven and turn once during cooking. Bake for 26-28 minutes, or until they achieve your desired level of doneness. Ensure your crab cakes are heated to an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit for proper food safety. For convection ovens, reduce the cooking time by approximately 1/3. Once your crab cakes are prepared, they can be served in a number of ways! Offer them alongside a creamy Caesar salad or serve them on a ciabatta roll for a satisfying lunch entree. Offer a Maryland-style take on a classic British fish and chips entree by serving a couple of crab cakes alongside a pile of thick-cut french fries! Get creative with international flavors by serving these crispy panko crab cakes with hearty Japanese soba noodles and a tasty teriyaki dipping sauce.
