Dexter-Russell 40003 DuoGlide 3 3/8" Paring Knife

We seem to always be reaching for our Dexter-Russell 40003 DuoGlide 3 3/8" Paring Knife, one of the most handy knives in the drawer! It came to us super sharp from WebstaurantStore, and has remained sharp through months and months of use. We have bought a number of Dexter-Russell knives now from WebstaurantStore, and they are slowly replacing our Cutco products, which were many times the price. We have also bought a bunch of Mercer knives from WebstaurantStore, which are also a great value. It seems Dexter-Russell has some designs and options that other brands don't carry, either with the quality of blade, shape of blade, or combo of blade and handle options. It fills a great niche and makes our kitchen a lot more useful to have their products. This DuoGlide pairing size has been extremely useful!

I have RA which makes it hard to grip things. This knife has a rubberized grip with an aggressive texture. It is much easier to hold this knife than any other paring knife I've tried. Its handle is larger than most paring knifes which also helps. It is a smaller handle than the Dexter-Russell DuoGlide chef's knife though.

This knife helps in cooking. It is very easy to hold. Comfortable. The shape of the blade and the large cushioned grip make using this knife pain free.

This is a step up from my old paring knife. It cuts smooth and it’s comfortable to use. No complaints with this knife thus far.

Our go to kitchen knife. We buy these all the time. They're aren't high end japanese steel, but they still work great. I don't buy expensive knives anymore after these.

Love the design especially the feel and shape of the qhandle. Soft in the palm, but firm enough for control. It cleans easily and stays sharp for a long time. Try the other Dexter Russell knives. I have three, this paring knife, the 5 inch utility, and the 7.5 bread slicer. We say buy all three! Jeff

I like how the grip on the handle feels in my hand. I was used to using the hard handled knives and I was never able to finish a long project using them.

Purchased this knife a while back for a loved one who reported discomfort when using her existing knives because of their too hard handles. She's been enjoying using the grip on this handle.

These knives are great for my set. They are sharp and easy to use. Made in U.S.A. they are great quality knives at a great price.

Used the Dexter-Russell 40003 Duo-Glide 3 3/8" Paring Knife to cut celery to see it's sharpness. The blades have a nice Sharpness. Ordered and was shipped very fast.

I prefer the other style of knife from dexter russel, as the handle seems to feel better in the hand. It also performes most peeling and fine work better.
