Taking the guess work out of serving cold food, this pan holds up to 1.6 qt. so that you can hold and serve just as much cold food as you need while also eliminating waste caused by unsafe food holding temperatures. Plus, it is designed to fit into standard food pan templates and food wells for ultimate convenience. After cleaning, return the unit to the freezer; for safety and convenience, CoolCheck should always be stored in the freezer.

CoolCheck Technology

This pan is designed to hold food safely below 41 degrees Fahrenheit for 6-8 hours on one charge. Simply place this pan in the freezer overnight (for a minimum of 8 hours) to charge it, and when it is ready to use, the pan will have turned blue on the outside! Using patent-pending technology, the exterior of the pan stays blue as long as it is holding food at or below a safe cold holding temperature.

Cold Identification

The blue color fades to white when foods have risen above safe holding and serving temperatures. However, as long as any part of the pan is blue, your food is still safe!
