These are one of the items that I am willing to pay the higher price for. You can get some cold crocks of the same size but after being in the freezer for a few months, they can get cracked or start to show leaks, where the Carlisle ones will last years. We have had our Carlisle Cold Crocks for nearly 5 years in some of our kitchens and they are still going strong. Highly recommend spending the few extra bucks here.
