Bulman A500, A501, A502, A503 Paper Cutter Assembly

Bulman A500, A501, A502, A503 Paper Cutter Assembly

After removing the cutter, dowel, and rubber bumpers from the box, you need to open up the legs of the A500. If you're not going to mount the unit onto a wall, under the counter, or on the counter, then place the rubber bumpers into the holes on the bottom of the cross bars. Place the unit on the counter and firmly open the blade arms by pulling on the blade. Place the dowel into the core plugs. Slide the towel through the paper and out the other core plug. Lift the paper up to the unit and place the ends of the dowel into the dowel sockets. The paper will drop into the unit. Snap the cutter bar back into place against the paper. Pull out the desired amount of paper and quickly tear against the blade.

Customer questions about this product

Why does the blade on this paper cutter not seem very sharp?
This product has an exposed, spring loaded blade that can’t be too sharp for safety reasons. A good, swift motion will provide you with a very clean cut. Remember, these are not the same as office paper cutters, as they are designed for butcher paper.
What's the difference between a paper cutter that has a straight edge blade and one that has a serrated blade?
While both types of paper cutters are useful and provide clean cuts, there are a few differences. A straight edge blade has a duller edge, making it safer to use. However, serrated blades cut into the paper when tearing, making it faster and easier to cut your desired length of paper. Serrated blades also work well with cutting film and foil, while straight blades are only designed for cutting paper.

I got this paper cutter to hold my butcher paper (#43318PEA). It makes it easier to use, store, and tearing is a breeze compared to trying to cut a straight line with scissors!

This paper cutter does the job. It's a little flimsy feeling while you are loading the paper, but once it's in there it's no problem.

Works great at dispensing and cutting any type of butcher paper we've loaded it with. It also stays put while you are using it. We took one star off since it is kind of flimsy when you are folding/unfolding it.
We use it hanging on our wall with the butcher paper to highlight our current soup selections. Mounted on the wall easily and is very sturdy.
This is a nice cutter for large 18 inch rolls of butcher paper and wax paper! Easy to load and cut to any size required!!
We have no complaints with these paper cutters. They hold up to daily use with no problems. Easy to load and the "cutter" stays against the paper and works well.
This is a solid and stable paper cutter. I keep it outdoors beneath my grill in a closed space and it has not rusted. Not super heavy duty but it performs fine.
we use this for our bread wrap paper cut. it works good and stay strong. i will recommed it to any one. very good buy!
Works perfectly, and does not slide on the counter. I may even buy another one to use at the other end of the service counter.
