not sure why they are called extra deep but for a pie they are a perfect size. I can get the correct amount of filling and they don't look cheaply made unlike the shallow size.

These are your standard foil pans. They aren't that thick, but I haven't had any problems with them so far. Great for making pies or doing prep work. Well worth the price.
We've used these off and on for to-go pies. They are no-frills, normal pie tins. They are sturdy enough to hold pies with heavy fillings and we've had no issues baking with them.

These do the job-- they are a bit more shallow than we expected for the "extra deep" version, but we'll likely order again. When we build the pie crust up to a thicker "wall" that provides a little extra height, we like the way they turn out. We bake our pies in this pie tin inside a ceramic pie plate for added stability and heat conductivity while baking.

A decent pie pan. Not super heavy, so you may need to place pie pans on another baking tray, but you cannot beat this price.
These pans are great disposable pans. They are low-cost and fairly sturdy. My students used these for pumpkin, apple, and pecan pie. All turned out perfectly.
