Vollrath N3808 Optio 8" Stainless Steel Non-Stick Fry Pan with Aluminum-Clad Bottom

I really love using this pan for cooking eggs - scrambled, omelets, or sunny side up. I already had a lid that fits perfectly to help me cook the sunny side up eggs. All I do is spread a little bit of oil on the pan and cook them. They slide ride off with a little bit of a shake. And cleanup is a breeze. Water pressure from the sink will pretty much get everything off. The handle gets a little hot near the pan itself, but at the end it stays cool. The handle is a slight oval shape, so it doesn't just completely roll in your hands. When it's time to get another pan, I plan to reorder this one. It holds heat very nicely with the thick aluminum clad bottom. Highly recommend!

this is a really nice quality little frying pan .... perfect for 2 or 3 eggs ... the price is right ... can't go wrong ... now to find a lid for it somewhere

I use this on a gas cooktop so no issues with induction that have been mentioned in other reviews. The coating is holding up well and still looks new after a couple of dozen uses. I started out hand washing after the first few uses but now it goes in the dishwasher with everything else. No scratches to speak of so it seems better than the Cuisinarts and Calphalons I have.

Great little frying Pan. Nothing sticks and it’s just the right size for those small frying tasks. I used it to make crepes and they turned out great.

bought this pan for cooking eggs, love the alum-clad bottom heats evenly and requires very little butter, just touch the stick to the pan for a second is all thats needed. very happy with the pan now what to get larger size for other foods.

This non stick frying pan works excellent for us to saute up vegetables and meats for our omelets. it holds up for a long time and does a nice sear on the vegetables.

I purchased this pan for home use. I have been using it for several years now. It has held up very well. I have hungry young adults and they have put this pan thru a workout and it held up very well.

We have had excellent luck with all the Optio products. We have an induction stove so we need solid, well made induction ready cookware at a good price. This is our second Optio non stick skillet, they get very heavy use so we do have to replace them occasionally. We got 3 years out of this one and happily bought another. Great product!

They work great on our induction burners and heat up fast as they should. As any aluminum pans, they get dirty and the heat will cake things on. They also use the non-stick coating so be sure to get rid of them when that starts to break down.

Never used this pan before but it has performed great. Have used this brand for years and have been very satisfied. Would recommend it. Great cooking pan.

These fry pans are ok. Like any nonstick pan the coating will come off over time and force you to buy new ones. If you have to have induction ready non stick pans these are pretty good for the price.

I'm a home user with a ceramic cooktop that has warped several tri-ply pans. It just gets too hot. So I looked for some pans that were reasonably priced with a heavy bottom. These Vollrath Optio pans fit the bill nicely. I bought the 8", 11" and 12.5" pans and have used them all a lot in the last year and a half. I usually clean them as recommended, hitting them with water right after use followed by a paper towel, but other family members put them in the dishwasher and we haven't had a problem. Most importantly, there's been no warping. Do not overheat them though! I did with my 11", preheating it to the point it was smoking. While the finish is still there, it is no longer very non-stick, so I'm buying a new one. Totally my fault.  Read More

The ollrarh 9 1/2” Non-Stick Fry Pan is sturdy and has an easy to grip handle. The Hand,e doesn’t great too hot and it is long lasting. This is great for commercial and residential use.

This pan works very well. As you can see from the attached video, there is no problem with stickiness. We used them to make omelettes in a Foods class today. Convenient.

This pan works great with the induction burner! They are sturdy and feel good in my hand. Perfect size for cooking eggs or any food in small portions on an interactive buffet line.

New house came with an induction cooktop, so my expensive non-stick pans are suddenly of no use! This one fits the bill perfectly. Works well with the induction top and the size is versatile enough to now keep only one non-stick pan on hand, plus my larger cast iron skillets.

Just as good as the ones I can find at stores or elsewhere online but cheaper at Webstaurant! Cheaper is a good thing! Great service too! Heavier weight than the ones at the store and cheaper!!! Great handles and we beat these puppies up all the time.

I find that I use this pan mostly for breakfasts. The non-stick surface works very well, I can make perfect egg omelettes on this pan with ease. Very good product.

Another great pan from Vollrath. This pan has a nice weight, a long handle that stays cool and a non stick interior. It heats quickly and evenly.

My wife wanted a non stick high quality skillet to use on her induction cooktop. This is a very high quality frying pan and it works great.

This pan is ideal for cooking any kind of egg. I have found this line is a great way to get stainless steel at half the price and a good quality.

The nonstick coating is solid, but the actual pan itself is a pain in the behind. Intermittently, the induction burner will refuse to recognise the pan. I think it's because the bottom isn't 100% stainless steel, meaning that sometimes it can be frustrating to get contact on your burner to the pan. This isn't just one burner that I've tried this on. We own about seven portable induction burners that I've tried these pans on, all to no avail. It just decides some days to work fine, and other days to futz out on you.

Great pan for making eggs in. I worked an omelet station with these pans and it was the smoothest one yet. No omelets were getting stuck, they were perfect!!

The sides are fairly thin, but the base is nice and heavy. It seems like a pretty good pan for the money. Waiting to see how the coating holds up.
