We use ground cardamom in a lot of our baking but the whole cardamom pods are perfect for spicing cider and other hot beverages, for making simple syrups for cocktails and also for spicing roasted meats and vegetables. This price is a steal. There's a cardamom shortage right now and wholesale prices are high, so I was skeptical of the freshness and quality of this, but there was nothing to worry about.

This is about the best value around for cardamom pods which are currently very expensive. They are all in great shape- uniform and plump without any brown ones. Overall I am pleased with this product and its good quality and value.

Whole cardamom stays fresh for longer than the pre-ground and I like to add the whole to rice when cooking. Excellent quality product and will order more when this runs out.

Bright green pods, nice size, very fragrant. My only regret might be having bought this larger size - since they are light, I hadn't realized how much 12oz would turn out to be. I used these cardamom pods in a mulling spice, and was very happy with the results. They're much more affordable here than anywhere else. The pods were bright green and the cardamom was very aromatic. Perfect.
