i really liked this nutmeg.....the actual nut sizes are small but i prefer that....with the smaller nuts like this i use 1 whole nut every time....i first tap the nut with a rolling pin hard enough to crack it into large pieces and then the cracked pieces go into the spice mill and 5 seconds later i have fresh nutmeg powder....very good purchase price and handy quantity size

These whole nutmeg spices are amazing. Grinding your own means more flavor and aromatics, we also find that they last a whole lot longer than pre-ground nutmeg.

There is nothing like the taste of fresh nutmeg. I usually buy the little bottles, Not anymore. When I first got them I was like wow, thats a lot of nutmeg. I use it more than I every use the stuff in the little bottle. You really have to try it to know what I am say.

This is a must have for anyone that uses nutmeg. You get a lot in here. The shaker top isn't really needed. Put a piece of plastic wrap over the top before screwing on the lid to help keep it airtight and keep the flavor in.
