Bad customer service from webstaurant. 1 fryer works fine. the 2nd I purchased doesn't work at all as pilot light won't stay on. They told me to contact warranty. Warranty never picks up the phone. i've left countless messages as we can't do without a fryer with no response. As a paying customer for webstaurant plus spending thousands and thousands of dollars for our restaurant needs this may be what does it for me in cancelling webstaurant.

Fryer worked for two weeks and then stopped working when the Pilot light would not stay lit. Webstaurant would not honor the warranty because it wasn't installed by a 'certified installer'. They can't tell you who is a 'certified installer', but apparently you must be one or else the warranty is voided for the item. Interesting.

Not hire people to install the unit , you don’t have warranty, don’t buy it , they denied the warranty!!!!!!!

Bought two. Worked well for a bit, but then pilot kept going out and would not remain lit. Wasted a lot of money having certified repairmen work on both units. Worked for a minute, then broken again...... How can I run a restaurant when BOTH fryers are out? Warranty is garbage - just a money grab. I will not be purchasing again. Will go elsewhere and lay out a little more money to have piece of mind!

We had a very disappointing after purchasing this fryer. The purchasing process was simple enough. The delivery of the fryer itself was great. We were notified before it was delivered and were able to coordinate a time that worked. We bought this equipment with a deadline to open. After using it for only one day, the pilot light wouldn't stay lit. We had the technician come back and take a look and he discovered that the thermostat was no good. We weren't very happy that a two-day old machine had a broken part, but he reassured us that it came with a warranty. After reaching out to take advantage of the warranty, they refused to pay the part and labor cost, so this fryer ended up costing much more than we had planned on paying for it. Please use caution when buying as the equipment doesn't always work upon arrival and the warranty may not cover the repairs. Maybe look for a company with a better warranty agreement.

I have bought 2 of these. Both have the same problem. They won't stay on. Second one lasted less than a week.

If I could give this fryer a zero i would. DO NOT BUY THIS FRYER. Nothing but problems. Bought 2. Have had 3 gsl valves replaced. Both thermopiles. In use only 5 months. Now takes 6 minutes for oil to rexover o temp after frying anything. Pilot lights take forever to start. Just a bad investment. Yes repairs were covered by warranty but not even in use 6 months! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Horrible service and very poor quality fryers.when I ordered 3fryers 2 fryer is ok 1 fryer was not ok, but they are not take care anything.I just waste money.

Has high limits issues, can’t fixed it, try to call no one help and you need hire someone to install the unit otherwise you lose your cover.

Extremely durable and resistant, perfect for any kitchen. It doesn't dent easily and is of the highest quality.I recommend 100%

This fryer works really well without taking any space. It gets the job done, we haven't had any issues with it so far. The fryer takes a good amount of oil, but can be used frequently.

I purchased 2 of these fryers in 2021 for my new restaurant. Been going strong with no issues. Decent volume restaurant, we do 150+ covers on Friday and Saturday nights. The cost of this fryer for the work horse it is, ya cant beat it! Cheers, Chris Chef/Owner of Ms. Sally's

I guess all depends on your expectations, For me I just needed a second fryer to help on the weekends. So far I bought 2 the first one I put it together by myself and it was super easy, first one has been operating for 2 years, the second one 1 year and a few months. It was worth it

Just bought this 14 months ago. The thermometer gauge went out so now the grease gets way too hot and blows out the pilot light. Contacted customer service here and, of course, it's no longer covered under warranty so we have to call local service. Who knows how many hundreds of dollars we will sink into getting this fixed. We have spent lots of money with Webrestaurant.....guess we will consider shopping somewhere else from now on.

Main Street Fryers are crap. Lasted 2 weeks before began having problems. I have been in the restaurant business since 2000 and servicing all my equipment since then at all my locations. As you can imagine I have had many different fryers, Royal, Imperial, Globe, etc. The problem with Main Street are the components. First the Gas Valve stopped working after 2 weeks. I Bypassed the Temp Control and the gas valve would not open. After replacing the gas valve I got it to open and heat. While checking out the temp control accuracy I noticed it would not always shut off when the temperature was reached or if I turned the knob to almost to the "off" position. The main street fryer was very easy to install. The fryer reaches temperature in a short amount of time. The fryer has excellent recovery time. We will be ordering from this line in the future for replacements.

Solid fryer at a great price. Big baskets and easy to clean. We added the side walls and cover accessories and also added casters. Would buy again

Warranty do not answer. I been calling for the past 6 months. Purchase three fryers and all three is having pilot problems. I dont know why they wont stop selling this product that is a waste of money and ripping us off. This is a scam and I want my money back

Like the previous commentator, I would give this brand a zero rating if I could. I purchased three fryers of this brand for my small fast casual restaurant. In the 18 months that we have been open, I have had to replace multiple parts on each fryer. And now, the fryer tank is leaking on one of them and unfortunately, it is unrepairable, as there are no parts to replace it. After only 18 months of use, I have to replace the entire unit. I am hoping the other two don't fail! Would recommend to everyone, spend a bit more money to get a better quality fryer and avoid this brand at all cost. It seems they know exactly when their products will fail because the warrant expires right before it breaks down!!!

Dents on side prevents locking in back peice, thermostat only goes up to 300. Came dirty with a lot of metal shavings and petroleum all in side

Idk who any why they design then legs that way. Holes are not matching with legs and there are screws on your way even u try..most stupid design or they don't give a crap about it...pls explain how u can match them holes and legs..take a look at the picture and tell me...didnt use it yet but hoping it will work...there some some loose part already

Purchase this fryers in February one of them went out in the first four months now the second just went can’t get in touch with no one from warranty to discuss the issue

This fryer worked a little over 2 years and then the pilot went out and we basically had to purchase a new one! We are definitely taking our Business to a local vendor. We have spent a lot and are still spending a lot of money with Webstaurant! But it stops here!

Purchased in January 2024 and is not working. Told it only has a 6 month warranty and would cost more than the fryer. Very disappointing!

don't buy this fryer. I have had nothing but problems and bought all the parts that make it work coreectly and it still didn't. I bout the high limit thermostat, thermopod, and the other themostat and it still didn't work. it would go off randomly. then we bought all the parts again and it would ocme on and you couldn't cut it off at all this time. i have paid enough to have bought a better name brand fryer for what i have paid for cheep parts. Never will I buy a Mainstreet anything again.

Beware do not purchase this at all one of the worst fries I’ve ever owned in the business probably does not stay lit contact Support at a certified installer. Take care of the Work but only has Warranty for six months. I repeat warranty for only six months!? These parts are definitely not made in America.

We have had this fryer for over 2 years now. We have not had any issues with it whatsoever. It has worked perfectly for our fast paced kitchen. We serve loaded fries and it has held up well.

WOW! What a garbage. I bought 4 of these, one lost temperature control (the fire wouldn't shut off even when it reached the desired temperature) just within 2 months, and second one happened 10 months later. Absolute trash. Don't even bother buying parts and replacing it because I did exactly that when it first happened but only two weeks later same problem reoccurred. Spend more, STAY AWAY from this.

Used this fryer for one year. We had purchased two of them. The first one stopped working after six months because the pilot wouldn't stay lit. Contacted a certified tech (after finding out warranty was expired) and they came and fixed it for more than twice the amount we had purchased the fryer for. We ended up having it removed because we bought another piece of equipment. Fast forward six more months and the second one just died because of the same thing; pilot wont stay lit. Would not recommend this item to anyone hoping to get more than 6 months-1 year out of it.

Kind of an off brand but works great, can do alot more fries now. well recommend

This fryer stinks. Stay with Pitco - it has a weird metal feel which doesn’t help slide the baskets on and off the hook section. It always gets stuck which is annoying when you’re slammed and also the drain hose gets stuck when draining the oil. The last complaint is that weird metal material makes debris not come off as smooth as a Pitco.
