These are some of the best knife cases I’ve ever owned. It’s like a perfect blend between the protection of woodblock and the portability of a good knife sheets. You tell by the picture I’ve tried all of them it’s made for the two black handled knives. Those are Mercer‘s only Damascus VG 10 edge Blend knife that they make, excellent edge retention, better than the handmade Japanese blue steel #2( blue handle)That’s why I bought the wooden case to protect that edge. The only issue I had was that the case was too straight I had to take it to a belt sander to be able to fit the angle of the handle on the knife, (less then 5min) but now, it now like a glove! It doesn’t shake, move or shift. I would absolutely recommend, I have tried other Mercers knives and they fit as well.
