This cordless vacuum features a brushless motor designed for extended run time and longer lifespan, with the ability to clean approximately 5,380 sq. ft. of hard flooring, or up to 200 minutes of continuous operation with two fully charged 18V LXT lithium ion batteries (sold separately). This vacuum has a 3.1 qt. / 0.79 gallon dust box, a large enough capacity to use in many commercial applications, and it can clear large flooring spaces with a highly efficient HEPA filtration system designed to capture micro dust particulates. The automatic homing function enables the vacuum to return to its original place when the battery is low or when cleaning is complete. Plus, it operates at a low, 62 dB(A) sound level thanks to the sound-absorbing construction of its motor chamber.

The Makita DRC300Z operates on a 3-stage cleaning system with a main brush, side brushes, and vacuum suction for superior cleaning abilities. Plus, with the main brush and side brushes combined, this vacuum provides an 18" wide cleaning path. With two cleaning modes with or without the vacuum suction option, this unit is incredibly versatile. The robotic vacuum has several options for autonomous operation and will effectively navigate the work environment with six ultrasonic detection sensors, one bumper sensor, and one 2D LiDAR sensor that allows you to map and save up to 5 rooms and 100,000 square feet. These detection sensors rely on technology that relays information about the floor condition such as obstacles to the computer, allowing the vacuum to move accordingly. Use the "mapping pattern navigation" for precise and efficient cleaning in nearly half the time and the "free mode" setting for cleaning in the moment without using the saved map registry. The vacuum holds up to 100 programmable boundary lines per mapped room, which prevents the unit from traveling beyond the boundary tape (sold separately) line when placed, and with the capability of connecting to a smartphone, you're in control of smart cleaning.

Additionally, the unit comes onboard with Star Protection Computer Controls that exchange data between the tool and software in real time to monitor conditions and protect your vacuum from overheating, overloading, or over-discharging. This system preserves the life of your tool and ensures maximum performance over a long time. For easy maintenance and added convenience, the cleaning components are removable and washable!
