This multi-faceted vacuum offers corded or cordless operation for maximum versatility and convenience. During cordless operation, the vacuum is powered by two 18V LXT batteries (sold separately) and delivers up to 74 CFM (cubic feet per minute) with 36" water lift of suction for up to 65 minutes of continuous run time. During corded operation, the vacuum delivers 127 CFM and 96" of water lift. The motor chamber of this vacuum is constructed of sound-absorbing materials for quiet operation, peaking at 75 decibels during corded use and 64 decibels during cordless use.

The Makita XCV13Z has a variety of features emphasizing ease of use during operation. With an oversized on-off switch, variable speed control dial, locking battery cover, locking rear casters, and removable storage box for attachments and batteries, this vacuum is designed to promote maximum efficiency while completing the job. The kit comes with two anti-static hoses, crevice tool, nozzle, curved pipe, main filter, damper and pre filter.

This vacuum comes with an efficient three stage HEPA filtration system that captures 99.7% of particulates .3 microns and larger. The filter cleaning system is designed to keep your vacuum performing optimally for longer with a longer filter life. The three-filter system consists of a pre filter bag that captures larger particulates, then moves into a damper filter which captures smaller particulates and completes with the main filter that captures micro particles. Additionally, the unit comes onboard with Star Protection Computer Controls that exchange data between the tool and software in real time to monitor conditions and protect your vacuum from overheating, overloading, or over-discharging. This system preserves the life of your tool and ensures maximum performance over a long duration of time.
