This charbroiler features 160,000 BTUs of heating power and four U-shaped burners for thorough cooking and even heat distribution. Each 40,000 BTU burner includes an adjustable pilot with easy front panel access, making temperature adjustments a snap. This unit is field convertible to radiant, char rock, or combination, and includes a liquid propane gas (LP) conversion kit and regulator.
With a large 40" x 20" cooking area fitted with iron grates, it also easily accommodates a wide variety of foods, and the grates can be slanted for even greater versatility. The insulated double wall construction ensures superior durability, and the whole unit is made of stainless steel for long-lasting use. For stability, this charbroiler comes with 4" adjustable stainless steel legs.

I see that this gas unit is "field-convertible." What does that mean?
Gas equipment is factory-set to use either natural gas or liquid propane. Field-convertible equipment allows your unit to accept the other gas type (so for example a natural gas unit could be converted to use liquid propane), but this conversion must happen before it is used.
For safety reasons, a qualified service professional should perform the conversion. Your equipment’s warranty may require that such conversions be done by a professional, and failure to do so may void warranty coverage.
We recommend that you communicate with your installer to also arrange for the gas type conversion at the time of installation.

My business is at a high elevation; does this change anything when I order gas cooking equipment?
Many gas equipment manufacturers need to make adjustments to the equipment so it operates correctly at elevations over 2,000 feet. Sometimes we can special order from the manufacturer and have your cooking equipment delivered ready-to-go, but in cases where your unit is in stock and waiting to ship, you’ll need to have a qualified service technician come to your location and alter your unit at the time of installation so that it is compatible with a higher elevation.
