"This Global slicer is a very good slicer for the money. You can get the more expensive models and, yes they are of higher quality, but this one is a really good value for the money. Solid (it's heavy!) and the knobs and movable parts are well made. Overall recommended item."

Terrible product, I think they shipped me one someone already returned. We opened the box to find the slicer blade unsecured and uncovered sticking straight up. Had someone fallen on this box before it had been opened, they would have been seriously injured. Immediately after setting up we realized it doesn't have a slice deflector installed or even included and this is a essential security piece. I have ordered from Webrestaurantstore manytime in the past however now that I know they are sending out returned broken junk, I will be looking elsewhere. Buyer beware!
