EcoChoice Wrapped Heavy Weight 6 1/2" Black CPLA Spoon - 500/Case

The spoons are pretty bad. They are very heavyweight and don't bend and would be good for hard-pack ice cream. However, the bowl itself is very deep and narrow. You cannot use the spoon to eat anything straight on, you must approach the spoon with your mouth from the side. That's the first awkwardness. The second is that the edges of the spoon are somewhat sharp, so it does not make a pleasant eating experience at all -- by the time you are done eating, the corner of your mouth hurts from the edge. The spoons I received aren't defective, they are just molded this way. I am stuck though as I need a 6.5" spoon and all the other plastic spoons are 6". I never thought that there would be unpleasant spoons but here we are.

We have replaced our white plastic cutlery with these due to the eco benefits. We love them.

These are great! We like these compostable spoons. They are much more sturdy than other ones we have purchased from other companies in the past. We definitely recommend them and will purchase them in the future.

These spoons are great for our office! We switched to these in an effort to be a bit more eco-friendly and compost them ourselves. Don't think that these are flimsy because they are compostable - they have some definite heft to them and don't weaken when placed in hot liquids. Will be purchasing again!
