A cotton / poly blend will offer the breathability of cotton, while polyester helps prevent shrinkage, maintains durability, and offers some wrinkle resistance compared to a 100% cotton shirt. Polyester or synthetic fabrics like a tri-blend generally hugs the body more because of static electricity as compared to cotton-rich fabrics.
