How To Install A Dema Pro-Fill Chemical Dispenser

How To Install A Dema Pro-Fill Chemical Dispenser

In this video, you will learn how to install a Dema pro-fill 1 chemical dispenser. Keep in mind that some of the parts needed for proper installation are not included. To begin, use a screwdriver to remove the knobs from the dispenser. You'll be able to separate the front cover from the rest of the unit. Loosen the screws, again using a screwdriver. Remove the unit from its mounting plate. With a level, position the mount on the wall and mark where the screws will go. To do this, use a pen, pencil, or marker to dot the wall through the screw holes on the mounting plate. Using a drill, drill into the wall where you made the marks. You should make a total of four holes. Once you do, insert the screw anchors into the holes and then insert the screws into the anchors. Do not push the screws flush into the wall; you need to leave space to hang the mounting plate. Once you position the plate properly against the wall, you can tighten the two top screws to secure the plate.Next, hang the dispensing unit, which hooks onto the two bottom screws. Tighten the screws,, and then grab the water hose, which connects to the spout on the dispensing unit. You will first have to untwist and remove the bottom piece of the spout. Connect the spout and the hose by twisting the two pieces together. Continue the installation by screwing the connector onto a water source. The connector has multiple parts, so make sure to attach them in the proper order. After you finish, connect the dispensing tube, and use the dilution guide and included chart to select the appropriate metering tip, and then screw it on the dispensing tube. You'll need the drill for this next step, so get it ready. Locate the cap, and then drill a hole through it. Attach the cap, weight, and foot valve to the chemical tubing. To do this, feed the tubing through the hole in the cap, and then push the weight onto the tubing. The valve should then be pushed into the end of the tube so that the skinny end is inserted. Attach the chemical tubing to the metering tip, and place the other end of the tube into the chemical. Screw the cap on the chemical container and replace the dispenser cover. Reattach the knobs with a screwdriver. Then, by turning the knobs, prime the lines before correctly positioning the knobs for use.
