The thermocouple boasts incredible accuracy of + / - 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit (+ / - 0.3 degrees Celsius) when in ambient temperatures from 68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 30 degrees Celsius). Thanks to its screen with a 0.1 degree resolution, it ensures that even the newest member on your staff can confidently and accurately adhere to temperature monitoring standards set forth in your HACCP plan.

This thermocouple comes with a Cooper-Atkins 50209-K microneedle temperature probe. Capable of registering temperatures from -100 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, this sensitive probe suits a wide variety of uses and boasts an impressively quick 1 second readout when used in liquid. Ideal for use with liquids, thin, fragile, or semi-solid foods, such as shrimp, meat patties, or mushrooms, or for sous-vide applications, the probe features a 3 1/2" stainless steel shaft with a 1mm diameter, round-tipped needle, which won't damage delicate food products after insertion. Please keep in mind that because of its thin tip, the probe is very delicate and should be handled with care. Limiting usage to trained professionals is highly recommended. This probe should not be used with highly acidic or alkaline food products. The probe is attached to a 48" coiled cable that expands when you need a longer reach and retracts for more convenient storage.
