Plus, it can also be used to measure air temperatures at air conditioning or heating vents to be sure HVAC systems are operating correctly so that employees stay safe and comfortable.
This probe features an impressive temperature range, measuring from -100 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit with a response time of just 10 seconds when used in airstreams of 5m/sec. It comes equipped with a coiled cable that extends to 48" when you need a longer reach, but then retracts to just 12" for more convenient storage. Encasing the cable is a yellow polyurethane outer jacket, which is protective up to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. This complements the durable and convenient design that the stainless steel shaft provides both the instrument itself as well as its operator. The durable 1/8" diameter shaft is made of stainless steel and features baffle holes at the tip to help protect the sensor from damage.
