Customer Q&A Ask a Question

How can I best maintain the non-stick qualities of this item?
To prevent food from sticking to your non-stick surface, we recommend lightly coating it with oil, wiping off any excess with a soft cloth or napkin. Using sprays on non-stick coatings can actually cause food to stick more readily than using a fat or oil. Sprays can leave a glue-like coating, often missed during the cleaning process, which will begin to build up and cause foods to stick. Additionally, metal utensils should not be used with non-stick surfaces to prevent scratching and damaging the coated surface.
What's the difference between a riveted and a welded handle?
A riveted handle is connected by small metal pieces (called rivets) that are crushed between the handle and the pan body to attach them together. This type of handle is more common on copper and aluminum cookware.

For a handle to be welded, the metal must first be melted and then adhered to the pan body. This creates a strong bond that leaves little to no space in between, so bacteria and other food crumbs can’t collect and cause sanitation issues. Both are long lasting solutions for fry and sauce pan handles because they are durable and can withstand heat.
What cooking temperature is optimal for use with my non-stick item?
Non-stick cookware is best used in low to medium temperatures in order to ensure longer-lasting use. Using this product in high temperature applications can cause flaking on the non-stick coat.
Is it normal for the handle of my item to get hot?
It is very common in the industry for the handle to become warm with frequent use, since your cookware is conducting heat to warm product. To safely use this item, be sure to grab the handle with a towel or pot holder during use.
How is top diameter measured in frying pans, and how accurate is this measurement?
The top diameter is the measurement across the frying pan from the interior of one side of the rim to the other. These dimensions are a close approximation as many frying pans have a curved upper rim, which makes precise measurement difficult. The standard naming is by top diameter, so although multiple brands have a 10” frying pan, there will likely be a small variation between each brand’s 10” pan.

This non-stick pan is good for the price but the non-stick coating peels relatively easily even with only moderate use. I would recommend getting a slightly more expensive pan with better coating if you can afford it.

This pan was ok cooked well but beware it’s a metal handle and it gets super hot so unless you always use the handle cloth they make for them or a towel I wouldn’t recommend getting it

Just a great work horse, that's why we have several in the kitchen. I use these daily and my staff love them as well. Great non-stick pans that we use every service. Very durable, but we only use silicone or bamboo spoons to avoid scratches and we only hand wash.
These pans can handle some heat and can handle a beating. We wanted to try testing their durability and will throw them around and go from the stove top to water. They handle it. It isn’t a nice thing to do the them but we wanted to make sure they last. Currently have a dozen and will be buying more as we grow.
So far this pan has been great, it's extremely non-stick and sturdy. It's relatively heavy bottom, and heats pretty evenly, very ergonomic and easy to work with.
Great pan for daily egg frying. Low cost. After daily use with a silicon spatula for a little over a year, the non-stick finish has just started to wear a bit. I still think it's a very good value.
These are great little non stick pans, though we made the mistake of ordering them for use with an induction stove. Being only aluminum, they won't work with induction.
these pans have held up a year. only thing is the handle which is meal gets extraordinary hot . I like the ones with a grip so you don't burn yourself
We use this pan for frying egg and so far it is working great. I will highly recommended this pan to be use in the restaurant.
I love that it doesn’t stick, definitely good quality and the price even better, the handle gets a little bit hot, but nothing that has not happened to me with other brands.
I have been using this pan daily for a couple years now to make my morning eggs and it is holding up well. Consider it a hand wash pan only, like all non-stick pans. You will definitely need to order the silicone handle cover, since the handle gets pretty hot, but that was expected. Great value for a workhorse pan.
Perfect small frying pan for every day use. I prefer the simple metal handle even though it gets hot to something with a plastic covering as it’s easier to clean.
Another amazing frying pan but 8” this time. The nonstick qualities of these frying pans are truly second to non. Honestly the best purchase in a while
Love these 8" non-stick fry pans by Choice! Fry and egg pans can get expensive quickly, especially with a young crew new to breakfast! But these pans have been very rugged for their price and even with the addition of a (sold seperately) rubber handle cover, they're still cheaper than the alternative and great quality!
Love this pan! This is our favorite go-to pan or larger dishes when family are visiting, or just making extra-large meals. The quality is worth the price. If you need it--buy it now so you can enjoy it.
I love this non stick aluminum fry pan. It is great for every day use. It does have a metal handle so beware to not grab it with your bare hands but other wise I love it.
We love these pans for egg dishes such as frittatas. The pans hold up well with repeated oven use. The only downside is that the pans are hand-wash only in our kitchen as they do not hold up well with repeated dishwasher cleaning.
This is a great fry pan. Very well built using the correct aluminum gauge. The Non stick is great for making eggs or small things. Highly recommend it to use wood, silicone or bamboo spoons to avoid scratches.
These non stick aluminum fry pan are perfect for our busy restaurant. Our kitchen staff loves to cook with them. They are perfect for our needs.
All of the Choice kitchen stuff we buy saves us a lot of time. these non stick pans are well built and last just as long as the name brand. we use these 8 inch on our egg station.
