    We have purchased 6 of these over the last year. Everyone of them have had issues with the top left plate going out, they are lasting about 6 months, just long enough for the warranty to no longer be effective. If you purchase these, I recommend getting the extended warranty.

    This waffle iron works well so far. However, it has never been non-stick. We've had to use spray oil on it from the beginning.

To prevent food from sticking to your non-stick surface, we recommend lightly coating it with oil and wiping off any excess with a soft cloth or napkin. Applying sprays on non-stick coatings can cause food to stick more readily than using a fat or oil.     We like these because they are a good cheap option for our cafe. While they don't last years and years, they do a great job making waffle for our guests and they are relatively easy to clean as long as you do it often! Don't be nervous about your purchase but understand that you get what you pay for!
