To operate the lamp, flip its on / off toggle switch, which is located away from the heat zone for safety. It comes standard with (2) 250W red bulbs, and for your convenience, it can be mounted to a table or countertop with the Avantco PCLMPSS stainless steel clamp for heat lamps (sold separately). This lamp requires a 120V electrical connection.

This heat lamp is not recommended to be used outdoors, or in a setting with an uncontrollable environment. Food trucks, or other enclosed spaces, would be okay, but a tent would not work since that would be susceptible to the wind or temperature, regardless of the use of a heat lamp.

Save your money and buy something better. I purchased 2 of these within 6 months of each other for 2 of my locations. Unfortunately both failed within less than a year. One had the goose neck fail so badly that it burnt one of my employees when it fell on their hands. The other one had the power switch fail (gooseneck was already starting to fail too. I was able to do warranty claims on both, so far one of the replacement's gooseneck has failed as well, I suspect the other one wont be far behind. Look elsewhere if you want a reliably built product.
