- How can I best maintain the non-stick qualities of this item?
- To prevent food from sticking to your non-stick surface, we recommend lightly coating it with oil, wiping off any excess with a soft cloth or napkin. Using sprays on non-stick coatings can actually cause food to stick more readily than using a fat or oil. Sprays can leave a glue-like coating, often missed during the cleaning process, which will begin to build up and cause foods to stick. Additionally, metal utensils should not be used with non-stick surfaces to prevent scratching and damaging the coated surface.
- What's the difference between a riveted and a welded handle?
- A riveted handle is connected by small metal pieces (called rivets) that are crushed between the handle and the pan body to attach them together. This type of handle is more common on copper and aluminum cookware.
For a handle to be welded, the metal must first be melted and then adhered to the pan body. This creates a strong bond that leaves little to no space in between, so bacteria and other food crumbs can’t collect and cause sanitation issues. Both are long lasting solutions for fry and sauce pan handles because they are durable and can withstand heat.

11 inch wok pan. Very thin, food stuck to pan first time used, bottom of pan is wearing off coating. Would not recommend this to anyone.

I bought a load of these for cooking classes, they are great, but watch your heat settings if you are using induction cooktops. The wok heats really fast leaving marks in the pan, but cooks excellent! If practicality and low cost is what you are looking for, look no more, these are a great buy!

I've checked around for a better price, and even figuring in shipping, this is still the best buy. This non stick wok pan is good for small restaurant business!!!

Nonstick surface is fine, if you don't use it over high heat. Otherwise, it'll stick like crazy, and all of a sudden you've got a lovely pan (and it is lovely) that's not in the mood to be used anymore, because it's got a thick layer of stuff that won't come off, and bits of the nonstick coming off as well. It's a shame really, because it is an excellent pan for the induction burners we have. When I order more, I'll be sure to warn people not to use it over very high heat, or to leave it unattended for too long. In other words, any failings of the pan are user error, and NOT the fault of the pan. Even though it looks rather thin and flimsy on the pictures, it's a reasonably sturdy little thing. A bit smaller than your typical restaurant wok, but excellent for keeping a few spares on hand for when you need to use something on an induction burner without spending a huge amount of money.

Its light weight and nonstick surface are so excellent.The handle is also sturdy and cleaning takes no time, just spraying or wiping with damp cloth and I am ready for the next one.I would recommend it for money saving and a quick cooking job.

I was very excited when the wok came in the mail. I seasoned the pan before I used it and it definitely didn't disappoint! So worth the money I spent!
