This Town 34700 14" Mandarin wok is made of 18-gauge cold-forged steel and is designed to resist cracking at its 6" steel handle connection. 4 1/2" deep. This style of wok is popular with Thai restaurants.

A wok ring, which allows this wok to be used on a regular (non-Chinese) range, is sold separately under our item number 88534710.

What is the difference between a Mandarin wok and a Cantonese wok?
The difference is in the style of the handle. Mandarin woks have a long stick handle, while Cantonese woks have two small loop handles, giving cooks a choice of whichever best fits their style.

    If you properly season this wok, it is sure to last virtually for a lifetime! Great for quick healthy meals that are easy to prepare!

    a very great wok. i got it as a gift from a friend. i have taken very good care of it from keeping it seasoned to keeping it from rusting

    Another gift item, recipient loves it. Particularly likes the stand. Nice value for money, attractive, nice coating. Give it a thumbs up for her though I haven't had the pleasure of using it.
