I bought this grease trap because our city increased the flow rate and gallon minimums for all grease traps. The plumber said it was well constructed and an easy install. I don't know much about plumbing but its extremely sturdy. You're going to need at least two people to move this and probably a dolly or pallet jack to get it inside, Keep in mind the dimensions of this large unit you may have to raise the height of your sink to accommodate the mandatory 1" air gap to prevent back flow into the sink

A flow restrictor on the inlet side of the interceptor slows incoming effluent and redirects it through baffling inside the grease trap. As the flow is gradually slowed, substances lighter than the water accumulate inside the trap above the static water line. It is PDI (Plumbing & Drainage Institute) Certified and maintains 90% separation efficiency, up to its rated grease retention capacity.
