Waring WSB60ST 16" Stainless Steel Shaft for Big Stix Heavy-Duty Immersion Blenders

I bought this replacement shaft because the one that came with the blender, after about a year of use, began to fall apart around the blades. I noticed small chunks of black plastic in my strainer after mixing some custard for gelato. It was the small black seal between the blade and the white nylon washer. It had become hard and was crumbling. I immediately ordered this replacement and while the black seal seems to be holding up, the clear seal in the photo I've included has come out, and I found a piece in my custard. Now fluid gets into the area under the blade and is technically no longer NSF. Instead of buying another replacement I'll likely go with a more expensive robot coupe. 2 useless shafts in 3 years. Not recommended.

This is a great high power immersion blender. Work great when mixing up large batches of pizza sauce. We have had some of these break after about a year or two but the price on Webstaurant Store is the best around, for the same product we were using before.
