Built from sturdy 22 gauge 300 series stainless steel, this product is highly durable, so it's sure to stand up to long-term use in any commercial environment. Its easy pour corners are up to 300% stronger than traditional corners, making them resistant to denting and dings for an extra layer of protection. This pan is resistant to jamming thanks to its patented corner, edge, and rim design. Since it won't jam, this pan can be stacked when not in use, and cooks can quickly take one off the top of the stack without it getting stuck.
This pan is ready for induction, and performs optimally with Vollrath modular induction drywell drop-ins (sold separately). This new modular induction system is safe, efficient, and precise in its warming due to its use of an alternating magnetic field. Water, steam, and drainage are all eliminated through electromagnetic induction, creating a completely dry system. There are two independent heating zones per well to deliver precise and lasting warmth. This system also features fully adjustable temperature control, an enclosed sealed heating capsule with temperature center, and risers to accommodate 2 1/2" to 4" deep pans. Tough against everyday use and easy to clean, use your Super Pan V® with this induction system for more efficient foodservice.

I used the pan on an induction stove for boiling maple sap. It covers 2 burner rings and worked well. The bottom of the pan wants to warp slightly with the heat changes, which is less ideal, causing each burner ring to only activate on the 6” da there than the 9” size.
