"These timers are great for keeping track of multiple tasks. Very simple to use and allows for long periods of time, as well as just seconds. We use one in the bakery part of the kitchen and one in the barista area. The magnet on the back is really handy when you don't have a surf..."
For the price you can not expect much. You will be getting exactly what you expected. We purchased 2 for our kitchen 26 days ago and this is a no go. Let me give you the good and bad:
Good: Multi timer set up so if you are busy you are not hunting other timers.
It flashes lights at you when a timer goes off so if in the area it catches your eye.
Bad: It has to flash bright lights because if you are over 40 years old in a mildly busy kitchen you ain't gonna hear it.
I do not know what the night crew did to number 1 but it don't work no more. They could have dropped it in the sink and if so I would have rated this one Read More

Handy little timer. We have a small kitchen so it's loud enough. The four timers is great since I usually need more than one timer going. It also tells time when other appliances in use.
The price is good but this is an item that I feel you get what you pay for. It is easy to use and understand but sadly the functionality and durability is lacking.

I can't believe this timer is supposed to be used in a business. The beeper is so quiet, it would have to be within a foot of your ear to hear it! Also, once the timer counts down to zero, it starts counting back up. So, since I couldn't hear it beeping, I kept looking over at it to see how much time was left and never knew if it was still counting down, or had started counting back up. This timer is just no good for our business.

Works Great, Battery Dies Quickly but other then that have not had any issues with it. I personally wouldn't buy again as I find the 8-1 Timer easier and more practical in my restaurant.
Within two weeks of using button got stuck and made it not functional. Also audible alarm sound is not loud at all. If you put it in your pants pocket or if the hood fan is on you will not hear it! I would not suggest this timer.
These timers are great for keeping track of multiple tasks. Very simple to use and allows for long periods of time, as well as just seconds. We use one in the bakery part of the kitchen and one in the barista area. The magnet on the back is really handy when you don't have a surface to place it on or would like it out of the way.
It feels cheap and the buttons are sometimes hard to push, but it does work and has a lot of features for the price. I guess you get what you pay for.
This is the worse timer I have ever had! The buttons seem to be stuck most of the time or extremely sensitive if you rest it down, or trying to activate another button. It frequently resets on its own, causing all information to be lost. I had a similar type of timer by another company, that lasted for 10 years, even after dropping it in water.
Thank you for your review! We are sorry this timer has not worked as well as you would have wanted. We recommend trying Taylor's 5863 Splash and Drop Kitchen Timer
for one that won’t compromise on durability or functionality.
I'm disappointed with timer. I bought it, and it didn't even last a week. The bottom button fell off. Thought it would have been better.
Thank you for your review, Don. We are sorry the timer did not last long for you. We recommend this Taylor 5863 Splash and Drop Kitchen Timer for a durable timer that resists water and heat damage.
I absolutely love these timers. I've labelled each corner of mine to use for the same items each time. Example; Cookies, Brownies, Bread and Chicken. The best part is that the green corner flashes when the timer sounds. No more missed timers and overbaked cookies! This is especially helpful in a loud commercial kitchen where several equipment is being run at one time. Best Taylor timer out there.
This is a good timer, although I have some criticisms and notes.
The good:
Four different events with distinct alarms for each.
Alarms are sufficiently loud.
User friendly design.
Clock and count-up timer are nice features.
1: The ergonomic placement of the buttons (which is GREAT most of the time) makes it easy to ACCIDENTALLY HIT them which can, stop or clear your timer altogether. :-\
2: I received NO instruction pamphlet of any kind, but the manufacturer's website has instructions.
3: The fold out stand (on the back of the timer) comes unhinged easily if you're not careful with it.
Even with these criticisms, I still think this is a pretty good timer for a pretty great price.
We use these timers for everything. It has multiple timers which is great for when you're working on baked goods. It also can be used as a clock and has a large screen.
Ok for occasional use but not so good for continued daily use.
We would recommend this timer for home use but not for a real commercial kitchen. The buttons are not very responsive and with the units size and overall design, it is necessary to use two hands to push the buttons on it for use.
We purchased 3 of these timers 5 months ago and only one has survived. The beeper is very soft and can be easily lost in an active kitchen. The magnet on the back is convenient but not strong enough to hold the timer up and push the buttons at the same time.
Overall, the timer design need improvement - do not buy for a busy commercial kitchen.
Thank you for your review! A Customer Solutions Representative will be in contact. These pocket timers are an excellent value, but if you would like to upgrade to a more heavy-duty timer, try the Taylor 5839 four event commercial kitchen timer instead!
Another life saver product. If you are cooking multiple items at one time, this will for sure come in handy. You can set 4 timers at once and never skip a beat. I recommend this item.
This Taylor brand pocket timer is awesome. You can set four separate timers with out interference. It's perfect for being able to bake different items.
This is a unique yet very practical kitchen timer! Small in size but its basically 4 timers in one and even has a universal clock!!!
Great little four-way timer. Loud enough for a home kitchen at least. Interface is easy to use, buttons are conducive to fast operation. Comes with a magnet on the back, so I just keep one on my fridge and one on my stove. Definitely recommended - good value for the money.
