This taylor 5863 splash and drop kitchen timer is better than other taylors timers since its protected and usually timers drop a lot in any kitchen.

This timer is very effective at what it does. It's easy to use and loud enough to be heard through the kitchen. I would highly recommend this product.

These timers are easy to use and see, and the construction means they are hard to break. My staff has dropped them, stepped on them, and the timers all still work.

We bought 3 of these timers for our students to take to baking competitions and they have been great. Nice and loud, easy to set and can be reset for the same time easily plus they have the time of day.

I ordered the Taylor 5863 kitchen timers. The timer itself is very functional, however the magnets on the backside are awful!!! They are so small and do not even stay put on the wall.I would not recommend it for anyone that needs to place it using the magnets on a magnetic wall surface.

This timer works fine for its main purpose, as a timer, but the rubber gasket is not well attached to the timer so it comes off easily.

It is a good time : easy to see and hear. It is little tricky to use . My husband has hard tim3 to use it

This timer is very accurate and durable. It has been dropped and it has not broke. the ring on it is loud enough that you can here it even when other equipment is on you can still here it.

We use a lot of these in our bakery! They survive all the wear and tear and drops on the kitchen floor! Just keep a small screw driver handy so your employees can replace the batteries when needed!

Not very impressed with this one. Functionality reminds me of texting in the 90's - takes far too long to set. Too many button pressings needed. Not good for quick-timed tasks such as broiling or pulling espresso shots. Resetting timer to zero requires pressing two buttons at once and if you are looking at the clock (i.e 2:26pm) and you press the minute button you will not get a minute timer but it will change the time to 2:26pm. Why is clock adjustment always on??? In other words while not difficult to use, this device is not instantly intuitive in kitchen speed. Expect people in your kitchen asking you how to work this thing. Can't hear your timer? Trust me, this one is for you. We operate in a very loud environment with hood, air mover, various ovens, dishwasher, and music going all at once. The loud setting on this timer will cut through all that and more. The magnets on the back are very strong, and allow it to be stuck to magnetic surfaces and grip well. The buttons are easy to use, and the rubber gasket around will save it from destruction every time.

Excellent product. I bought 3 and use them around the deep fryer and grill area. A hit with the crew and fairly sturdy which by far is my number one need as we've managed to destroy quite a few other types of timers. Will certainly buy again should the ones I have now die.

A little small button wise to use in a hurry and with gloves on. Slows you down quite a bit. other then that its a solid timer. Better for a prep cook or hoe kitchen.

We usually go through a few kitchen timers every few months and this one has seemed to last us the longest. It is loud and easy to hear, like that is magnetic and sticks to the cooler for easy access.

The magnets are not durable on the Taylosr Kitchen timer so they do not hold up to wear and tear very well. This product was great at first love the features and the size but they could be more durable.

Durable, clear, and the volume adjustments do wonders. We use these in both our restaurants and our food truck. The only problem we had were the magnets on the back would fall off after some use and we would just have to re-glue them on with a stronger glue!

This is a very durable timer as the name does say. I go through so many timers that fall from the oven and break. This is also very loud, so you can actually hear it above the loud noise of a commercial convection oven.

Tried several other timers and they either were not loud enough or too soft in sound. Bought two for different times. Volume adjustment allows you to be loud or quiet. Very small screws in the back for changing the battery can be a little difficult.

Great timers for a kitchen. They have strong magnets that will stick to just about anything metal. They are pretty durable and have lasted much longer than any other timers we\'ve tried. They are also very loud (at the highest setting) making it easy to hear when you aren\'t in the kitchen.
