This innovative thermometer reads internal cooking temperatures while being outside the oven with the door closed; just close the 44" long heat-resistant, silicone-jacketed cable in the door to keep the probe inside the food and the rest of the thermometer outside the oven. Keeping the door shut helps retain hot air, promoting energy efficiency and preventing heat loss. The thermometer's magnetic back allows it to mount to the exterior of the oven, making it easy to view and control.

Also capable of tracking the cooling rate of food, the thermometer helps ensure that food cools down safely. This makes it a versatile, kitchen must-have and streamlines the process of monitoring both cooking and cooling. Plus, it reads temperatures from -25 to 392 degrees Fahrenheit with an accuracy of +/-2 degrees Fahrenheit, which delivers the precision you need.

With a large 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" LCD display, the thermometer is easy to read. It's easy to operate too, thanks to its three readout options: actual temperature, preset temperature, and timer countdown. The timer can be set up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds, helping staff keep track of cooking or cooling times. A memory feature also reduces the time spent programming the settings before each use. When food reaches the preset time or temperature, the thermometer sounds a loud, 80 dB alarm, and an LED light flashes. These features cut through the noisy bustle of a kitchen for immediate notification. Plus, the timer changes to show a clock at the press of a button.

Designed for commercial use, the thermometer is made with a durable ABS plastic housing and boasts an IP44 waterproof rating. A wall-mount bracket, wire hanger, magnet, and rubberized feet all make it easy to place wherever needed. When finished using the tool, the probe conveniently slides into a slot on the rear of the housing, which helps keep it safe and protected. A replacement probe (sold separately) is available.
